In 1991, Greg Bishop co-founded a magazine called The Excluded Middle, which was a journal of UFOs, conspiracy research, psychedelia and new science. Wake Up Down There!, a collection of articles from the magazine, was published in 2000 by Adventures Unlimited Press. Greg’s second book was Project Beta: The Story of Paul Bennewitz, National Security, and the Creation of a Modern UFO Myth which documented a government campaign of disinformation perpetrated against an unsuspecting U.S. citizen. Weird California, a portrait of strange and eerie history and places in the Golden State, was released in 2006.
From December 2007 to November 2011, Greg blogged for the UFO and paranormal site Ufomystic. His book It Defies Language is composed for the most part of entries from that blog along with older material and brand new articles written just for the collection. Greg will have "a few copies on-hand" of the just-released new book UFOs : Reframing the Debate (an anthology by multiple authors which Greg contributed to, edited by Robbie Graham) : the book is described as "a cold, hard, slap in the face for ‘UFOlogy,’ a call to break away from established ideas, approaches, and practices, and to boldly tread a new path in quest of understanding what may very well be the greatest mystery of all..."
For most of its history, the goal of UFO study has been to prove that extraterrestrial beings are coming to the Earth in structured craft. This talk will discuss some of the other possibilities that seem to fit the evidence just as well or better than the ET hypothesis, and will also examine how we perceive the world through our senses, nervous systems, and psychology, and how this could also be giving us an incorrect or highly distorted concept of what is witnessed during a close encounter with a UFO or apparent beings associated with them.
The close encounter witness is at first blindsided with something for which he or she has no previous framework, and which the mind tries to furiously stuff into a mental “filing box” during and soon after the event. Later, the aftermath of trying to find some sort of context and meaning is readily available in literature, popular culture, the internet, and from UFO researchers. What might be pulled out of each person’s individual makeup as a result of a close encounter? Without any intention from either side of the human/ non-human equation, this may be what is happening during an unusual experience. A good example of this is the wide variety of reported apparent craft and beings seen as well as individual reactions.
The option to choose our own meaning and intent may be forced on us for some unknown purpose. Is the intelligence communicating with us by holding up a mirror whenever we try to look too closely? If we subtract our own innate bias, context, and psychology from the history of UFO reports, what is left?

Jack Brewer is the author of the nonfiction book, The Greys Have Been Framed: Exploitation in the UFO Community, has been called "The Most Important UFO Book of the Year" (Magonia Book Reviews). It explores the ways deception, sensationalism and questionable ethics distort public perception of the UFO phenomenon. His research interests include social dynamics surrounding reported UFO sightings, alleged alien abduction, and the overlapping of the UFO and intelligence communities.
The ways the UFO topic has been exploited by intelligence agencies will be explored, as will specific ways the UFO and intelligence communities overlap. The manipulation of ufology by a combination of demographics ranging from propaganda specialists to amateur hypnotists ultimately challenges us to reconsider what we think we know about reported UFOs and related phenomena.
After World War II the CIA undertook an aggressive international effort to influence the political alliances and behavior of individuals against their will. Dozens of projects and subprojects with titles such as Artichoke, MKULTRA, and MKNAOMI became so extreme the mental health of personnel would be called into question. Discover how the use of combinations of torture, drugs & hypnosis evolved into “enhanced interrogation techniques” used at CIA prisons such as Guantanamo Bay. As disturbing as fascinating, involuntary experimentation and hypnosis continued to be documented as intelligence tools well into this century. Consider what's known of “America's battle lab,” the evolution of interrogation methods, and the concerning correlations to activities within the UFO community.
LISTEN! Adam Sayne's "CONSPIRINORMAL" May 24, 2017 audio interview with Jack Brewer about how most of what you think you know about UFOs and Alien Abductions are wrong. Jack takes the viewpoint that most of the stories propagated in the UFO realm are a mixture of intelligence operations, wishful thinking, and just plain opportunism. We discuss Jack's research on the David Jacobs/ Emma Woods case, the Carol Rainey and Budd Hopkins Controversy, and the possibility of mind control experiments in the Betty and Barney Hill case.

The teachings of Zecharia Sitchin are a major component of the popular television series Ancient Aliens. How factual are his ideas about the Anunnaki and Nibiru? This session answers that question by taking a look at the Mesopotamian cuneiform sources.
Many UFO enthusiasts don’t realize that many UFO researchers are not fans of the popular Ancient Aliens television series. That seems counter-intuitive. This session focuses on why UFO researchers aren’t as enthusiastic about the show and its content as people might think.
The idea of an extraterrestrial reality is defended by some on the basis of presumed alien visitations in the ancient world. That idea in turn is defended by appeal to ancient texts, including the Bible. People who revere the Bible and believe in ET life believe the Bible not only lends credibility to alien visitation, but helps explain some of the things in the Bible, like the Nephilim. But is using the ET question as an interpretive filter for the Bible wise? This session explains why that strategy comes with unintended consequences.
The opinion that our solar system and the wider universe must be home to intelligent extraterrestrial beings is taken for granted by both the scientific community and the popular culture. But is the hypothesis as self-evident as its marketing suggests? This sessions probes the logic and intellectual defense of the intelligent ET hypothesis for its strengths and weaknesses.
Fans of science fiction know that intelligent ET life is often the focal point of that genre. But the storytelling of movies like Contact, Prometheus, Knowing, 2001, Childhood’s End, Star Trek and many more are about much more than escapist entertainment. This session makes the case that these films are deeply theological.

Joseph Jordan is the President and co-founder of the CE4 Research Group, an Alien Abduction investigation and research team (originally) based out of Cocoa, Florida. Following work for NASA's Kennedy Space Center as a Safety Specialist, he currently works in South Korea, contracting as a Safety Professional supporting the Department of Defense.
Joe has been a Mutual UFO Network Field Investigator since 1992, and is currently the MUFON National Director for South Korea. In 2016, Joe was appointed to the MUFON STAR Team, their "Rapid Response Special Unit".
He has shared his research findings from his Alien Abduction investigations through many radio shows, newspaper and magazine articles, DVD’s, and lectures. His research findings on Alien Abductions have been written about in twenty-six different authored books over the past two decades. He has spoken during six "Roswell UFO Festivals" in Roswell, New Mexico, including the 60th Anniversary Conference in 2007. Joe and the CE4 Research Team were also honored to host the Roswell UFO Festival Conference for the city of Roswell in 2008.
The findings of CE4 Research, tagged as "the unwanted piece of the UFO/Alien Abduction puzzle" are without a doubt the most powerful and controversial evidence of the true nature of the Alien Abduction phenomenon to ever be presented. See www.ce4research.com
Joe Jordan of CE4 Research shares his twenty year struggle to bring his Alien Abduction research findings to the world of UFOlogy. His findings are controversial, extraordinary, unexpected, and seemingly unwanted in the UFO research realm. He only asks that when putting together the UFO/Alien Abduction Puzzle, all of the pieces be brought to the table. Even if his piece might change what you think the picture might be. Truly honest research calls for all of the evidence.

Guy Malone is best known as author of Come Sail Away : UFO Phenomenon & The Bible (originally published in 1997) and as co-founder of AlienResistance.org. In 1999 he moved to Roswell, New Mexico as a missionary attempting to reach those whose beliefs might be leading them into UFO cults (such as Heaven's Gate, The Raelian Religion, Scientology, Urantia, etc).
In 2003, he organized his first (of 7) “Ancient of Days” conferences, bringing speakers of different beliefs and backgrounds together in Roswell to discuss UFOs and alien abductions and learn from one another. In 2007, he was asked by City officials to join Mayor LaGrone's "60th Anniversary UFO Festival Committee" to serve (originally) as conference organizer, and then (later) as the “UFO Festival Director”. (This website - RoswellUFOfestival.com - owned by Malone, served as The City's "official" website that year, although it is an independent project today).
While in Roswell from 1999-2010, Malone traveled, ministered, “networked” and did outreach at annual UFO conferences around the country. Aside from numerous FM Radio and internet based interviews, Malone has been featured in print publications such as the Fate Magazine article “Rebel With A Cause,” in the Christian magazine Charisma’s cover story “Aliens Among Us” and also appeared (but was grossly mis-quoted!) on “UFOs in The Bible” aired by The History Channel.
After a five year absence, Malone once again makes Roswell his home, producing the "Modern Challenges to the Extraterrestrial Hypothesis" conference as his first major work since returning. His span of works are today most easily accessed for free on his newer website RoswellMission.org.
Not a weather balloon, not an alien spacecraft? What facts could be so terrifying as to warrant the cover-up and secrecy attended to the Roswell Incident - clandestine operations so morally repugnant that a Post-WWII government would prefer U.S. citizens think that the government was lying to them, than to reveal the ugliest truths of all?
Malone posits that an alien spacecraft was not being covered up, but rather that an alien spacecraft was the cover up. The presentation rests largely on suppressed but genuine "prototype" technologies, on government records and files not released or de-classified until decades later, and is known as "the most challenging, alternate view proposed yet for the Roswell UFO Crash of July 1947."
Malone asks, "Do certain Christians say "aliens are really demons" based simply on an uninformed knee-jerk reaction to the unknown?" No. In fact many theologians have historically argued that God could have easily created life on other planets, if He so chose. But what does an examination of 20th century sighting and abduction reports reveal?
This lecture provides an overview of the messages, actions and abilities demonstrated by modern "aliens" with insight into the scriptural and theological arguments that logically support the fallen angel interpretation of the phenomena. While you may not be convinced of this view yourself, you will walk away better understanding WHY many with a Biblical worldview conclude that "alien" activity is a fallen angel deception, and ultimately consider the reasoning behind the "demonic hypothesis" much more convincing than you thought possible.
Malone ends the presentation with a revealing look at "What The Bible Says About Life on Other Planets".

The idea that the government has a highly classified, secret group which believes that the UFO phenomenon is one of demonic – rather than extraterrestrial – origins may sound outlandish and unlikely. It is, however, absolute fact.
Indeed, we know that the group exists – and largely thanks to a man named Ray Boeche, who met with members of the group in 1991. He is a UFO investigator, a former state-director for the Mutual UFO Network, MUFON, and a priest. As he did in his 2010 book, Final Events, Nick will reveal in this lecture his findings on how, and why, the group came to believe that the UFO phenomenon is demonic in origin.
In 2005, Nick Redfern's most controversial book to date, Body Snatchers in the Desert : The Horrible Truth at the Heart of the Roswell Story was published. It was a book that offered an alternative theory for the July 1947 event that has become known as the Roswell incident. Nick's research was focused on the theory that aliens did not crash near Roswell. Instead, the famous event, he concludes, was caused by the crash of a secret, experimental aircraft of terrestrial - rather than extraterrestrial - origins.
In a fully-illustrated lecture, Nick will reveal the new and startling information which has surfaced since 2005 - the year in which he became "Ufology's Public Enemy Number One." Material from his soon to be published new book "The Roswell UFO Conspiracy : Exposing a Shocking and Sinister Secret" will be presented publicly for the first time!
